Boyle Hall

Construction of Boyle Hall started in 1915 and was finished and dedicated on August 19th 1917. The building was named after Francis Boyle who attended St. Norbert in 1912. The gift of Boyle hall was made by Francis Boyle’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Boyle because of the enriching experience Francis received while attending St. Norbert College and at the time all campus activities academic or otherwise were held in Main Hall. Francis Boyle laid the cornerstone himself in 1916 with his father present to witness. Boyle Hall was the first building on St. Norbert’s campus to be constructed entirely with donations. Boyle continues to house a variety of courses ranging from general education courses to philosophy, English, education, religious studies and faculty offices.
